These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website and the purchase of products from PPT Research Ltd t/a PPTDS Lab (PPTDS) a company registered in England & Wales.

By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Age Requirement

You must be 18 years or older to purchase from PPT Research Ltd. By placing an order, you confirm you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts and meet this mandatory age requirement.

2. Research Use Only

All products sold by PPT Research Ltd are supplied strictly for laboratory research purposes only.

STRICT RESTRICTION NOTICE

Products are:

• NOT for human or animal consumption.

• NOT medicines, supplements, cosmetics, or food products.

• NOT for clinical, diagnostic, therapeutic, or veterinary use.

By purchasing, you explicitly confirm that:

• You are a qualified researcher, laboratory, or institution.

• Products will only be used in lawful, controlled, in-vitro research settings.

• You understand and accept all inherent risks associated with handling research materials.

PPT Research Ltd does not provide dosage advice, administration guidance, or clinical recommendations under any circumstances.

3. Product Information Disclaimer

All information provided on this website including product descriptions, calculator tools, and technical references is for informational research purposes only.

• Any calculator tools provided are theoretical references and do not constitute dosage guidance.

• Products are supplied “as is” without warranties of fitness for a particular purpose.

• The customer is solely responsible for verifying the suitability of products for their specific research application.

4. Orders & Acceptance

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. PPT Research Ltd reserves the right to:

• Refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion.

• Cancel orders where regulatory, legal, or fraud risk is suspected.

• Correct pricing errors or website inaccuracies post-purchase.

• Limit sales or restrict access to qualified customers.

Payment must be received in full and cleared before any goods are dispatched.

5. Pricing & Payment

Prices are displayed in GBP (£) and are subject to change without notice. In the event of an obvious or manifest pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and issue a full refund. Currency conversion is for illustrative purposes only. Rates are approximate and do not reflect actual exchange values.

Payments can be made via BACS upon receipt on invoice. Once payment has cleared a confirmation of payment email will follow. Your order will subsequently be dispatched. 

6. Shipping & Delivery

Delivery terms are governed by our separate Delivery, Shipping & Returns Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Estimated delivery times are guidelines and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by:

• Third-party couriers

• Customs inspections and clearances

• Government restrictions or import controls

• Events beyond our reasonable control

7. Risk & Ownership

• Ownership: Title to the goods remains with PPT Research Ltd until full and cleared payment has been received.

• Risk: Risk in the goods transfers to the customer immediately upon confirmed delivery by the courier to:

  1. The delivery address provided at checkout;

  2. A nominated safe place; or

  3. A neighbour or authorised third party.

• Once marked as delivered by the carrier, full responsibility for the parcel transfers to the customer.

8. Lost, Delayed & Delivered Parcels

Where a parcel is delayed or missing, we will initiate an investigation with the courier before issuing any refund or replacement. Refunds or replacements will only be processed after official courier confirmation of loss.

If a replacement or refund is issued and the original parcel subsequently arrives, you must notify us immediately to either:

• Return the duplicate goods; or

• Pay for the duplicate goods.

Where a parcel is officially marked as delivered but reported stolen by the customer, we may require a copy of a signed Police Report or a screenshot of an official report submission confirmation before considering a replacement or refund.

9. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated, PPT Research Ltd reserves the right to provide all order, tracking, delivery, and correspondence evidence to the payment provider or acquiring bank.

Where a dispute is raised for goods confirmed delivered by the carrier, and no supporting documentation (such as a police report) has been provided by the customer, we reserve the right to pursue recovery of the outstanding balance and associated administrative costs through lawful means, including debt recovery agencies or court proceedings.

10. Returns

Due to the research-grade and temperature/environmental sensitivity of our products, returns are only accepted where items are proven defective upon arrival.

Returned parcels caused by an incorrect address provided at checkout or failed delivery attempts may incur an administrative and restocking fee. Full details are available in our Delivery Policy.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PPT Research Ltd shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

• Loss of profit, revenue, or research opportunity.

• Misuse or mishandling of products.

• Regulatory or legal breaches committed by customers.

• Delivery delays outside our direct control.

Our total liability shall not exceed the exact purchase price of the products in question. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other statutory consumer rights under UK law that cannot be lawfully excluded.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on this website including text, branding, logos, product data, coding, and images is the exclusive intellectual property of PPT Research Ltd.

• No content may be reproduced, distributed, or mirrored without prior written permission.

• Automated scraping, data mining, copying, or misuse of site content is strictly prohibited.

13. Compliance With Laws

The customer agrees to comply with all local, national, and international laws and regulations relating to the purchase, import, handling, storage, and research use of the products. PPT Research Ltd is not responsible for ensuring product legality or compliance within your specific jurisdiction.

14. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: supply chain disruptions, courier interruptions, customs delays, natural disasters, cyber incidents, acts of God, or government restrictions.

15. Amendments

PPT Research Ltd reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the website or placing subsequent orders after changes are published constitutes explicit acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
